The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has committed to bringing adaptive sports in as a positive and productive method of rehabilitation for wounded veterans. The Summer Sports Clinic is one of many events held each year to bring together veterans who wish to develop their sports skills through these workshops. Veterans with several types of injuries from amputations to traumatic brain injury participate in the clinics.
Registrants must complete the application, certify that any assistive equipment meets VA standards for participation, complete a medical/physical exam, and are enrolled for VA healthcare (or apply if you are not already).
