Football teams will honor veterans in game

According to the Washington Examiner, two football teams plan to honor veterans and bring attention to a veterans service organization via a game on November 14.

The University of South Carolina’s Gamecocks and the University of Maryland’s Terrapins will meet in an upcoming game, but they may not be easy to recognize, as both teams will be outfitted in camouflage! The company that produces uniforms for the teams, has designed special gear for the game which will be donned by players.

The teams will be wearing the camo to show their support for the Wounded Warrior Project which advocates on behalf of disabled veterans in DC.
