According to USA Today, more and more colleges and universities are offering courses on how to treat veterans returning from war. Students in social work and psychology programs are taking advantage of the training and reportedly expressing an interest in helping servicemembers, veterans and their families. One in three servicemembers in Iraq/Afghanistan suffer from depression, PTSD or a traumatic brain injury (TBI), and nearly 2 million have served in the recent wars so far.
